My signature workshop helps women to see the beauty in their reflection and feel empowered to pursue their passion no matter what obstacles they may encounter. Generally at the beginning of the program, when women start off feeling trapped in there in their minds and are incapable of turning off the negative self-talk that is holding them back from pursuing their goals. When they have finished all the steps as designed they will think and feel empowered to take their life back and walk confidently within their passion.
I did. I remember being a child and being taken away from my mother because of her schizophrenia and sent to foster care. I was also a victim of colorism, and feeling like taking my own life was my only option. My roots were tainted with insecurity, low confidence, and feeling ugly both inside and out. As I struggled to regain my confidence in adulthood, I was sexually harassed by co-workers and mentally abused by my ex. I had lost hope, and I felt like this was my life and that there was nothing that I could do about it. I remember the exact day when I decided enough was enough. I was standing naked in front of my mirror, observing all of my physical scars and thinking about my mental scars, and came to the realization that not only have my scars have healed, but I became stronger. I could do anything that I set my mind to, and I knew I was special, and my battle scars were the proof. Throughout everything that has happened to me, I persevered. I became a new, more confident person. I became my own cheerleader and reminded myself that I am a bad b!tch.
I am free. I am happy, and I am living a life worth telling a story about. Throughout my journey, I did not have a mentor or a coach to help guide me, and I will admit that my road to self-realization and regaining my confidence was long a hard one because of it. My signature coaching workshop will guide you through actionable material on understanding your confidence, the value in changing your mindset, creating SMART goals, overcoming fear, and self-doubt to go after the things that you value most in life. Each person who completes all the steps in my signature coaching workshop will be able to regain control of their life and get it realigned back to their purpose because they know without a doubt that they deserve the very best that life has to offer!
Week 1 - WHAT IS CONFIDENCE AND WHY DO I NEED IT
In this week's lesson, you’re going to learn how to give confidence a boost when it’s flagging. More importantly, you’ll learn how to build back your confidence when it’s lost. We’ll start by learning the essentials, asking what confidence is, and talking about why it’s essential. From there, we tackle the question of how we can lose our confidence. We’ll end with an entire section on reclaiming confidence when it’s lost. Sound good? Then sit back and prepare yourself for a story. The main character is a more confident, happier you.
Week 2 - RESETTING YOUR MINDSET
How much time are you spending on tasks (and people) that don't feed your soul and bring you happiness? We all have that one friend who stresses us or that one client who pushes all the wrong buttons. Add to that the chores we dread, and it's a recipe for unhappiness and frustration. But these necessary-but-deadly-dull-or-stressful tasks can hold you back and affect your mindset in more ways than just mere inconvenience.
Week 3 - CREATING SUCCESS RITUALS
In this week, we're going to be talking about your daily foundation. Setting up a foundation for daily success in your life, not just from an action and implementation perspective but also from a mindset perspective.
Week 4 - TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF
Your body is a temple, both inside and out. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are taking care of yourself both mentally and physically. If you place this responsibility onto anyone else, you will only be setting yourself up for failure. In this weeks lesson, we will talk about self-care, eliminating self-doubt, the value of self-talk and maintaining your physical self.
Week 5 - BECOMING YOUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF
Your journey starts with getting to know who you really are. Clarify your beliefs and values. Discover your true passions. Develop a healthy self-concept. The path continues with proven techniques that will help you accept and love the person you find inside. Put your new self-knowledge to work in the next part of your journey as you discover your life purpose and determine your priorities in life – what’s most important to you!
Week 6 - PLANNING FOR SUCCESS WITH SMART GOALS
Becoming successful and achieving your goals requires planning. If you want to start that new business, leave an abusive relationship, or lose weight; it all starts with a strong set of SMART goals. In week 6, we will be discussing SMART goals and planning for the future.
Week 7 - THE POWER OF WORDS
If you’re thinking, “Wait? Words? You can’t be serious.” I want you to know I get it. But whether you think it’s too easy, too nerdy, or just plain too good to be true, I guarantee a quick Google search for “manifesting stories” will absolutely change your mind. Journaling and writing–simple as it may seem–has been the “secret” behind the success of almost every high-performer in history, and continues to be today, too!
Week 8 - KNOWING YOUR WORTH AND REGAINING CONTROL
Do you know your worth? Do you see your value? Do you understand your importance in the grand scheme of things? Perhaps the most important piece of information that any human being can possess is a clear view of who they are and how they fit into the world around them. We characterize this idea in several different ways – self-worth, self-value, self-importance, etc. However, no matter the moniker that we hang on the idea, the critical nature of seeing one’s self as we truly are remains the same and undiminished.
A great many people tend to devalue or undervalue themselves when it comes to their personal worth. The purpose of this week is to change that perception and attitude and allow every person who reads these words to realize that they are important, valuable, and unique. However, before that can be accomplished, a certain amount of education needs to be done.
