DIVORCE

So, it has ended.

It is no longer us.

No more we, only me.

Promises broken, trust gone.

We made a vow, but it was done in vain.

You never wanted me the way I wanted you.

We will travel our separate paths never as one again.

I am filled with so many mixed emotions.

I feel sad yet happy, weak yet stronger.

We ended something we both started.

You let me go so easily, no fight.

I was only your accessory,

Not your partner.
