In the darkness, I felt you,

You reassured me of your unconditional love,

I saw you  when you did not see me, my love,

I felt you.

In the darkness, I saw your face

You guided me in the dark and brought me to the light,

I saw your face

In the light you are gone but, in the darkness,

I saw your face.

In the darkness, I saw your beauty,

I saw your beauty.

Mother nature’s glory stood tall and proud,

I saw your beauty.

Life flourished and thrived from your consistent love,

I saw your beauty.
